Established in 1982, the name Nanango State High School has become synonymous with quality education in the South Burnett. Currently attended by over 500 students, Nanango SHS delivers a comprehensive curriculum in a supportive environment.

If sport is your passion you can’t go past the quality staff and facilities offered at Nanango SHS. In addition to our completely indoors multi-purpose hall, 2008 has seen the opening of a new undercover sports centre. The more artistic students are not forgotten either and can be involved in musicals, drama productions and the instrumental music program.

Nanango SHS has a long and successful history in the public speaking arena with many of our students reaching state finals under the expert tutelage of our public speaking teachers.
